Hi! I'm Donna. My husband Bill and I live on the island of Palawan, in the Philippines. We work with the Palawano people, doing a New Testament translation into the Palawano language. We first arrived in our beautiful adopted country in May 1981, over 30 years ago. We are nearing completion of the Palawano New Testament. Bill should be finished with the initial drafting of all books by the end of 2011. Then he and I and the Palawano translation team will work through the 15 or so other procedures for the last books, and get them checked by June 2012. In September 2012 we take the NT to Davao, Mindanao to the typesetter, then it will proceed on to the printer. By May 2013, the Palawano people will have the whole New Testament in their hands for the first time.
